Nollywood darling Sharon Ooja has us all swooning with the story of her whirlwind romance with hubby Ugo Nwoke!

In an exclusive chat with Bella Naija during her traditional wedding on June 27, 2024, Sharon spilled the deets on how she met her prince charming right after a tough breakup.

"I was fresh off the worst heartbreak of my life," she shared. "I was totally not in the mood for love when my sister mentioned a friend who wanted to chat. I was like, 'No thanks!'"

But fate had other plans. Her sister sneakily gave her number to Ugo, and he turned out to be persistent and oh-so-smart. "At first, I wasn’t interested," Sharon admitted.

"But he kept reaching out, and our conversations just got cuter and more interesting. One night, we talked for three hours straight, and I thought, 'Hmm, I might actually like this guy.'"

Soon, Sharon found herself missing Ugo when he didn't call for two days while she was traveling. "I was like, 'Why didn’t you call me?' and he said, 'You told me to let you have fun because you’re single.' I replied, 'Yeah, but I don’t want to be single anymore!'"

And just like that, sparks flew. "We dated for only two and a half months before he proposed, and within two months, we were married!" Sharon gushed. It’s proof that sometimes, love sneaks up on you when you least expect it, and when it’s right, it’s right!
